Perfectly located near the Jurassic Coast and easily accessible from the A35, The Barns can be found in the small and tranquil village of Loders. Nestled in rolling hills and farmlands, Loders is a warm and welcoming community with two village pubs (both in easy walking distance) offering local ale and home-cooked food. Just two miles down the road is the bustling market town of Bridport. Famous for its fresh produce, Bridport is also home to shops, restaurants, supermarkets, an independent cinema and a twice weekly market.
The cottages offer easy access to local footpaths and the surrounding countryside and coastal path is a walkers paradise. Keith and Louise have a wealth of knowledge of the area and take great pleasure in suggesting routes to help make sure you see the very best scenery as well the best pubs and restaurants!
Also in close proximity are Hive Beach and West Bay; with spectacular beaches and a working harbour, there is fun to be had for all ages.
Other activities available in Dorset include:
- Historical sites and landmarks
- Fossil hunting
- Food and Music Festivals
- And even the unique Bridport hat festival
And lots more – Keith and Louise are full of ideas so you will never run out of things to do!
